Kakatiya Kala Thoranam a historical arch of Warangal. It is also called the “Warangal Gate“. The Warangal was surrounded by 4 gates(charkamou) which are build to destroy great shiva temple know as “Kakatiya KalaThoranam”. It was constructed as the symbol of the “Kakatiya Dynasty”, and incorporated as”Emble Of Telangana”. In was build in 12century by Kakatiya Dynasty.

Later it was added fortification by Rudrama Devi and Prata Rudra II. These 4 gates are the part of the temples destroyed by Muslim invader “Ulugh Khan” according to their policy , that to destroy all Hindu temples.

1000 Pillar Temple is located in Hanamkonda, Warangal. Another name of 1000 Pillar Temple is “Rudreshwaram Swamy Temple”. In 1175-1324 CE the temple was constructed under the “Rudra Deva” rule. During the invasion, desecrated by the “Tughlaq Dynasty”. Mir Osman Khan donated 1 lake for temple welfare.

Ramappa is “Ramalingeswara Temple” IT lies in the valley of “Palampet”, venkatapur Mandal. It was constructed by General Recherla Rura, under “Ganapati Dava” rule. The main parts structured by reddish sandstone and black basalt outside.
